The third track in Nakhla’s collaborative album series is Anymore ft. Fiorella Angelini (run time 6:13) made February 2022. Released on Sizeable Fluff.

Anymore takes a spoken word recording by artist Fiorella Angelini and combines it with Nakhla’s new dance tune inspired by emotive club music of the 90’s and early 00’s. Referencing loss, longing and desire, Angelini’s words connect with Nakhla’s own lyrics and musical moments, as the track moves through waves of congested vocals, ambient pop and uplifting dance. Playing on a yearning to feel close to other bodies, Nakhla aka end measure creates a space for the listener to contemplate the old whilst gearing up for the new. The accompanying research video hears Nakhla discuss her thinking alongside clips of music that inspired the new work.
