Join us at IMT Gallery for the launch of the Autumn/Winter 2026 edition of Sluice Magazine, featuring Anna Sebastian as the cover artist, whose solo exhibition The Same Dust is currently on view at the gallery. The launch marks ten years of publishing and the magazine’s 20th issue. To celebrate the anniversary, Sluice is also launching a new digital archive, making all previous editions available online.
With Motion as its theme, the new issue considers movement through space and across borders, artworks moving beyond the gallery, and movement as a physical act, a performance or a journey. It brings together contributions from artists, curators and writers working across a range of artist-led practices and projects.
The magazine features Sebastian’s painting Nikon’s Sequence (2026) on its cover, alongside images of works from The Same Dust and an accompanying text by curator Kirsten Cooke.
Anna Sebastian and Kirsten Cooke will both be joining us for the launch, with drinks served throughout the evening.
